JTalmage Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 Ever have a project that looms over your mind like a dark cloud, and it won't go away? This is that project. I bought it for 5 bucks at a swap meet because I wanted to build it and donate it to the Model T Museum in Richmond, IN. But it isn't my scale, and, let's be honest it's a less than great kit.... but... finally this evening I forced myself to start on it. I had intended on painting it and doing a slight amount of details on it.... but while I was trying to build it I was dealing with another issue for an event my club is participating in this weekend and it was aggravating me.... so I decided to instead slam this thing out as fast as I could completely bare bones box build not even paint. Total time about 4hr and 20min give or take some time to eat dinner and spray paint another project. Anyway, I hated it and I'll never do another one... but, it doesn't look all that bad finished. Also, this thing is right hand drive... weird! 4
XYHARRY Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 It actually looks better than the box art example. Well done Jesse, considering it only took you a short time to throw it together. Cheers, David. ??
Zippi Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 These "Brass Era" Fords look so kewl. Very nice job.
bill-e-boy Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 Lookin good - we had them right hook down this end of the world (NZ) as we are a RH drive country. Ours came from Canada which is part of the British Commonwealth. I can remember seeing two T chassis being tipped into a small gully when I was growing up on the family farm and then being back filled as a crossing for said gully. Apparently my grandfather was into Model T's but my dad liked more modern stuff - Model A's LOL
