Kodiak Island Modeler Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 When I was a youth, I had a real 1960 Chevrolet Impala 2 door hardtop. It looked good, but not this good, but this is my tribute to it anyway. It was yellow with a green top and green interior. 10
ncbuckeye67 Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 Very nice! But only one picture is a tease.
satterwhite78 Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 Looks as if you found a color photo from that place in time....
Horrorshow Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 Looks great! Yellow and green is an interesting colour combo
Supernurd Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Looks like a magazine ad from 1960! Great work ?
DFrancois70 Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Nice yellow lemon Chevy! I like the color of the dress of the woman on the right. It would look really nice on a 50's era car model kit. Ready to go to the prom!
Street Rod Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Beautiful Impala! Like your display, looks like ‘back in the day’.
espo Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Alway enjoyable to build a model of an old friend. Great looking paint work and clean chrome trim.
papajohn97 Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 Beautiful bubble-top model! More pics please! This is an unusual two-tone paint scheme, was your 1:1 a re-paint? I think the ‘59 - ‘62 GM bubble-tops are among the most attractive designs ever to come out of Detroit and this Revell kit is one of the best. Great job!
Rattlecan Dan Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 As mentioned, that seems an unusual color combo, but it works. Nice job.
Zippi Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 Lot of chrome trim on these cars back in the day. Nice looking 60 Chevy Impala.
Falcon Ranchero Posted January 14 Posted January 14 That’s so cool; I built this kit also, it’s a good one
TooOld Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Sharp Impala Douglas ! Like the colors and it's a cool tribute to your own car .
