Mike C. Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 I just stopped in 2 different auto parts stores and they both thah that imposter product Power Plus (which does absolutely nothing). One I'm certain I got it at before. 1
Mike C. Posted August 22, 2023 Author Posted August 22, 2023 I had to just order some on eBay. You people with brick-and-mortar stores that are wondering why you can't compete, GET SOME STUFF IN STOCK! It's getting so I have to turn to eBay for every single thing. 1
StevenGuthmiller Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 I think some of the larger big box stores like Walmart supposedly carry it, but yes, I always get mine at one of the larger auto parts stores such as O-Reilly’s. I haven’t had to buy any for several years because I very rarely have to strip anything. I now use it mostly for cleaning airbrush jars and such. ? Steve 1

Steve Thanks Steve, but my walmart never has it even though the website says they do. I stopped trusting Walmart years ago. They too have to cheap knockoff.
redscampi Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 Purple Power is Super Clean rebranded. Or it at least works the same.
Dpate Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 Quit buying it long time, but I always got it at Walmart

I’ve used them both and Purple Power doesn’t work nearly as well. I still have a half a gallon of it that I bought several years ago when I bought it at a store that didn’t carry Super Clean, and it was a disappointment right from the beginning. Steve 1

Mike C. Posted August 23, 2023 Author Posted August 23, 2023 I got mine on eBay at half the price I usally pay at the brick-and-mortar stores. Plus, free shipping! So, I bought 2 gallons.

1972coronet Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 Now I feel compelled to see if Super Clean is in stock where I work. Who knows these days ? A certain state out here where I (unfortunately) reside is famous for banning things arbitrarily -- the original Super Clean being one such item.
Hi-Po Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 I am in the Puget Sound area and was able to purchase two gallons of Super Clean at the local Walmart yesterday. This should last me for quite some time now.
Jon Haigwood Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Bought my last one at AutoZone not long ago. Definitely does not perform like the original.
