jjsipes Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 Internet was down at work this morning so, I grabbed my primed Challenger body and my old can of Testors Go Mango Laqcuer that has been oozing amber stuff for a while. Was worried whether it would spray or not. I have heard some say these cans that have been oozing will not spray right. I wanted to try and use it before it would not spray. It has some orange peel but I can handle that with a quick polish and some clear. Overall happy with it so far. I love the old High Impact colors from 1970. 9
espo Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 Have used this Orange on several builds, none of them were MoPars, just like the color.
Zippi Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 I'm diggin that Testors Go Mango Laqcuer Jason. Looks Great.
slusher Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Very nice looking Challenger! Real nice finish!
jjsipes Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Making some progress. Sprayed the hood black and thenncoatrd with flat clear. I even took the decals out and sprayed flat clear on them. Bare-metal trim fought me but finally got it done. Went over the body with my Mothers Cleaner wax. 6
jjsipes Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Current chassis state. Need to fab upside rear shocks. None provided in kit. No ignition coil or oil filter for the engine either. 5
Zippi Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 This is really starting to take shape. Love the color combo.
Roadrunner Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Nice! Makes me think it's time to finish my own.
