I used a Revell build and play snap tite 2015 mustang gt as the basis of this model but then heavily modified the front end made t-tops gave the back end a black out panel and added a trunk lid spoiler wing I modified the dash and custom made the gull wing style steering wheel and steering column control pods I also made a overhead control console I modified a set of custom rims from my parts boxes

I have a cool cover of the knight rider song playing in the background of the video

Some intricate detailing on that interior Michelle! Wise move taking pics before completing the model.

Thank you

That's cool, nicely done! Twenty-odd years ago I made a 3K from the then-current Trans Am. I still need to make a Mustang version one of these days.

Thank you and cool

Great job, awesome detailing of the interior. On my to-do list is the Knight Industries Three Thousand from the short lived Knight Rider revival. Specifically the pursuit mode in the Pilot film before they went all Ricky racer on the exterior. For simplicity sake it'll more than likely be in hot wheels 1/64th scale ?

and cool I would do a model of the main look of it from the pilot movie  if I could find a revell special edition 2008 shelby gt-500kr kit but finding one is the problem I do know that there is a 3D printable version of the series version of the attack mode it is curbside no interior and glass in place

Nice creativity. Good job. Out of black paint yet? lol

Thank you
I ran out of black metallic paint prior to painting this and another model so I had to get a can of gloss black so I could paint the body for this one and the body parts for another car though only the front and back clips of the other car turned out gloss while the main body turned out more satin like finish even though it was the same paint and the same primer under all 3 part of that other model I also have another can of metallic black paint coming

Wonderful job Michelle. I particularly like the custom dash! I've always wanted to do the car from the short-lived tv series entitled "Viper", but haven't had the guts to dive in for a build :)

Nice work Michelle. I remember watching Knight Rider back in the day.

Thank you I recently got the complete series on blu-ray and started watching the episode commentaries by the knight rider historians on their YouTube channel
I still need to find a decent priced dvd copy of the 08 knight rider series so I can see more then the few clips I have found on YouTube
