I built this car a few years back. It was one of the first models I really took my time on and took seriously. It was still before I joined any forums and really learned how to build “properly,” but I was still happy with how this turned out. I decided to pull it back out and detail up the grille and black wash the wheels to give it that final touch. Paint was Testors Extreme “Icy Blue” with cheap rattle can flat black for the hood. One of my favorite Mopars of all time!

Well done. One thing, the Duster didn't have roll down rear windows. They swung out. I know there are fit issues with them. I simply trimmed the bottom lip off mine. One I attached from outside to simulate the swing out.

Great looking paint color and finish. The trim all looks cleanly done. We can always look at something we built in the past and think we should have done this or that to the appearance. Anything you wanted to do here wouldn't take more than a minute or two without dismantling your build.

Thank you, everyone. @ClassicgasI never realized or looked into that on the windows, thanks for the heads up. I’m sure I’ll never find them for this one this far after the fact, but I’ll know on the next one. I’m anxiously awaiting the rerelease of the 71 Demon, so I can apply that technique there!

Very nice Duster. It looks good in blue, and one of the better kits to come out of the previous AMT Corp. or whatever name they used when this was first issued.

Seeing as it is a different tool, that fit problem might not exist, but it's still a cool thing to do.
