R. Thorne
Ok, my curiousity has gotten the better of me. There is a considerable difference in price between these 2 kits. One is Revell of Germany and the other is Revell Monogram. Other than one advertised as a W30 and the other a 442, what’s the difference and is the quality the same? Or is there a better kit of the 1971 Cutlass hardtop than these 2?
karbuildr
I don't have this particular kit in the stash, but I believe they're the same kit. As to why the price difference, ya got me. That's curious in itself. Unless import costs are added to the one from Revell of Germany. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge of kit history will chime in. Can-Con
Exact same kit. The RoG kit probably has better decals and instruction sheet though. This is a newer tooling kit, so, no there isn't a better one.
Dpate
The revell germany will always cost more than revell usa. Better instructions, and better decals made in Italy. Sometimes the Germany kit is of better quality than the USA version depends on the kit.

Mike 1017
Other things to consider. Euro vs US Dollar, shipping costs, custom clearance duty and tax. Maybe a US tariff to pay. Mike
