Getting bogged down in several other projects, I wanted something relatively quick and easy. So I gave a bit of a refresh to this broken and rather filthy old promo to turn it into the car driven by Brad Pitt in Ocean's Eleven:

I'm half convinced it was dredged out of a lake somewhere. So I cleaned everything up, repaired the broken rear quarter panel, and replaced the windshield, frame, wheels, hubcaps, front seat, steering wheel/column, headlights, and rear bumper with parts from AMT's current Ranchero kit. The rear seat was modified to match the front with some round stock and metal tape, and carpeting was added to hide the ejector pin marks. The chrome was brightened with BMF, a Gundam marker, Sharpies, and colored pencils, leaving some of the patina in place to help match the movie car. As always, any comments/criticisms are welcome!

Love my Falcons. I have a promo in beautiful condition.  I planned on opening the hood and using the Ranchero chassis, but when it arrived, it was too nice. ?

Nice job with the restoration. ?
