I am looking to use a set of Olds Rally wheels on a project. What, if any, AMT/MPC kits have them other than the '69 442?

I grabbed a Revell '83 Olds for them and do not like them and want the AMT/MPC set.

So far even Evilbay has been a bust for just the wheels so I need to look locally for a kit.

Try Fireball, Joseph has several types of Olds rally wheels.

They have them. They look like new additions too!

What about the Revell '71 442 kits? those look pretty good to me.

I'll look closer but they looked to be the same as the 82 Olds. I am wanting the deeper AMT ones, just do not think they are available other than the '69 from my searching. If that is what I need to get for the wheels, so-be-it.

Not the same.

I just checked those 3 kits. , kinda, I have the '72 cvt which I assume has the same wheels as the '71 hardtop.

Anyway, the AMT wheels are deepest , '82 are shallowest and the '72's are in between.

Another option is to buy a mini-lathe some aluminum tubing and fabricate your own deep dish Olds Rally wheels. You can even make 17"-18" rims from them.

Very cool, but a mini lathe is beyond me for my kits. Takes me enough time to build things as is. Wish I had more bench time.

Thank you for the information. It is very helpful.
