DZ7581 Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Anyone with more knowledge than I do, know about this? Saw it on a f.b page, could be fan made?
Dave Van Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Says it was shoen at NY Toy Fair by Revell 1
Rob Hall Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 New Revell tool. Mentioned in the Revell new release thread earlier today. 1
disconovaman Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Yeah, the boxart says it too, and a 1:25th scale Blazer by Revell hasn't been done to my knowledge. So it will be exciting to see a modern tooling by Revell with a mid 80's Blazer. 1
Fat Brian Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 I'm hoping this will lead to some modern square body truck kits. 2
av405 Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 I haven't been this excited for a new kit in a long time! The possibilities are endless!

ncbuckeye67 Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 A different post showed Revell releasing a series of kits based on the "Stranger Things" series. K-5 Blazer, 79 Camaro, "Surfer Boy" pizza delivery van. The "Country Squire" station wagon would be nice to see.
stavanzer Posted January 24, 2024 Posted January 24, 2024 Has there been any more information on this kit? I look forward to seeing it, out. Been a long time since we got a Light Commercial/ Police subject from Revell. Like Alberto & Luc, I see lots of potential in thus kit.
av405 Posted January 24, 2024 Posted January 24, 2024 Nothing further as far as I can tell. And believe me, I've been looking. 1
mikemodeler Posted January 24, 2024 Posted January 24, 2024 Being an all new tool and not having a sample on display, I would guess we will see this in the second half of this year. Kit development takes time and they are probably working to bring these show related kits out at the same time. 2
oldcarfan Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 I've never watched Stranger Things, but I can't wait to get one of these Blazers, and another flattop VW Van even though I already have one sitting waiting to be built. The Camaro also sounds interesting if it's a new tool or if they retooled the old Monogram based one enough to make it interesting.

stavanzer Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 Except for the Blazer, I am guessing that all the other kits in this series are slightly re-vamped versions of existing tooling.

The glue kit or the snap-tite, cuz that one had a none t-top roof. Edited February 16, 2024 by Luc Janssens Added photo

Only Monogram and a hand full of Japanese companies did a 2nd gen Camaro in 1/24. Wonder if it will have the flat hood like the car on the show. That didn't have a Z-28 hood. Sledsel Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 Revell needs to do Jonathan's Galaxie..... It could also serve duty as a 007 car (there is one on the Mustang box art) 2

I believe it was listed as a modified reissue so they'll probably add a flat hood and make sure the decals are correct.

The T3 van has one more part in this version than it does as presently reissued. So I suspect that's the roof sign. 1
