Silvercreeker Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Just a quick (9 days) Halloween build. I had to give this 1/32 T’Rantula the extra attention to make a nice match for the other T’Rantulas in my collection. The paint is candy lime lacquer with Tamiya clear. Red fuzz interior, wired engine and all the chrome done in Alclad. Decals are vintage first generation T’Rantula that I have been saving for years. A bit yellowed, but gave them life on a deserving build. All the body seams were filled and smoothed. Here she is sitting with her big sister. I’ve loved Tom Daniel kits since the 70’s. Still a blast to build!!! Happy Halloween! 6
karbuildr Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Very cool, both builds. The color looks great, very nice detailing. They look great together.
ea0863 Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Looks waaay cool, Scott! And if you're into T'rantulas, consider the Tiki Trike since it was in essence the three-wheeled version of this icon. 1

Yeah Nah Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 Seeing quality like this always fires me up to give one a try myself. Excellent build!
slusher Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Looks great and both looked awesome together. I remember my cousin built one when I was about 7 and I liked it and always look at it when my parents visited my uncle and aunt..
Street Rod Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Excellent work! Looks great next to its big brother.
Thedragsterdude Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 Do you, have a WIP on that glue kit tarantula? 1
Silvercreeker Posted August 5, 2024 Author Posted August 5, 2024 Just some random shots, it was a glue bomb I picked up at a show
