I see a lot of Gofer gasser decal sheets. Are these designed for real (existing or past) cars, or just names that are arbitrarily cobbled together for the modeler to choose from?

Thanks a bunch,

The ones that I have in my stash are all generic fictitious names, Fremont Racing Specialties who goes by - paintinjoe on eBay has team specific, off the shelf decals for Gassers and other historic drag racing cars.

Thanks. I want to do a generic gasser, probably a '33 or '41 Willys, so this information will come in handy.

I did the artwork for Gofer and that sheet. All the names are inspired by real drag cars. Gofer owner and I came up with most of them during a lunch break one day. Thanks

Slixx also has an assortment of gasser decal sheets.

Yes, Gofer and Slixx are both sold my Model Roundup, so I was aware of those too.
