After looking through some threads with minimal results, I am looking for some bucket seats as was found in this mid 60’s drag car (A/SR 31 Ford).  Probably have to make ‘em but thought it was worth a try.  Any ideas?

Nice seats.

Thats a challenge, but well worth it.

I have a Thames Woody conversion build thread here...I cut up some kit bucket seats to size, and used epoxy putty to enhance the cushion shape and thin wire to simulate the ridge and stitching, then used brass wire for the seat frame.

IIRC there might be some real tall narrow bucket seats in the AMT 33 Willys coupe that could be modified...I'll have to check.

The mention of the Revell Thames / Anglia kit rang a bell...

Those kits have high-back buckets. The sides and headrest could be cut down to look like your example without a whole lotta effort, I believe.

Seats at about 4:30...

Those look good.

I believe the grey ones are from the AMT ‘66 Nova resto rods kit. The red high back, possibly a Monogram ‘57 Chevy kit?.?

Not sure if they were in the latest release, but the MPC Pinto Wagon had these high back racing seats. I used a set in a vintage style racing Porsche model and they looked pretty nice.

Thanks to all who replied with suggestions.  Right now I am leaning towards the Revell Anglia (partly because I have those in stock and they look good) with, of course, some modifications.  Thanks again to the modelcarsmag brain trust.
