So, while I’m waiting for some much needed supplies to arrive that will allow the continuation (and finishing) of two other projects, I decided to start cracking on this one.

I just recently grabbed this at a local model car contest/swap meet, and had been wanting it for months.

Given that the other two cars are blue, I thought a change was in order. This car will be painted metallic green (Tamiya) as per one of these two versions. I’m not quite sure which one yet, but have plenty of time to figure that out.

Either color would look great. The B-4 spoon looks the closest to the factory color, Rally Green, I think it was, but I like the darker shade with the additional metallic myself.

Top spoon with white stripes and interior would look amazing!

I was already thinking white interior (actually an off-white) with black carpet and dash.

Chrome parts are really well done, and I'm very happy to see this. The front grill, after applying some washes, should look great, and I really like that the headlight buckets are chromed as well.

I have this one, as well as the 68 in my stash. I will be watching this one! ?

I made the dumb decision to buy the AMT '69 convertible, only to discover it's just the re-boxed '68 kit!

Tamiya Racing White with an over coat of semi-gloss lacquer would look great in that role.

I agree that either of those greens would look very sharp.

They are such a nice kits, fit like a dream! Did mine in Basf Lemans Blue

I see you didn't go for the wheel well trim on yours. I really don't blame you for that, it's extremely fine detail there. The rest of what you did looks wonderful though.

My bmf didn’t like the polished body, since doesn’t wanted to stick, I don’t put it
