I started this over a year ago. Time to get back at it! I've got as far as paint and some foiling but no further. Decided to go stock with a classic red and white paint scheme. Tailgate is glued shut cos the hinges were stupidly weak and didn't hinge properly anyway, but looks a nice kit and comes with a choice of two engines, always a plus in my book.?

Like the colors and the chrome looks great so far, there is a lot of it.

Thanks, David. Yes, lots of foiling to do! I think the only other kit I've done that required so much foiling was the '58 Edsel.

Nice looking so far.  That foil work around those fins is tuff to do and yours looks pretty well done.

Looking good so far Gareth. Having recently done a stock version of this very kit I can recommend it. Like all old AMTs not without it's frustrations!

I did mine with the opening tailgate and found it worked much better if you extend upward a couple of mm the slots that the hinge pins go into.

Thanks, Garry. Too late now, I glued the tailgate shut, lol. First thing that broke was the tailgate hinges.
