Toys4Don2 Posted December 3, 2023 Posted December 3, 2023 Very nice looking Wood Brothers build. Excellent detail work.
TarheelRick Posted January 30, 2024 Posted January 30, 2024 Not sure how I missed this one. The Wood brothers have been my all-time favorite racing team since I saw Glenn Wood drive a modified at Bowman Gray Stadium back in the early 60's. You have built an excellent rendition of one of their finest machines. The end of the full-size cars and the beginning of the mid-size is the most exciting time in NASCAR. Really enjoy this build, some mighty fine work.
gami8630 Posted January 31, 2024 Author Posted January 31, 2024 Thanks, ToysDon2, bytownshaker,TarheelRick. I too have been very fond of the Wood Brothers color scheme since I was young.
Rattlecan Dan Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Exceptional job! The attention to detail really draws you in. The simplicity of the Wood Bros. livery has withstood the test of time. Always appealing. You did a great job of capturing the stance and feel of the era.
gami8630 Posted February 1, 2024 Author Posted February 1, 2024 (edited) Thanks, Rattlecan Dan, Volzfan59. I am motivated when I receive compliments from everyone ! Edited February 1, 2024 by gami8630
jjsipes Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Another great build. Looks amazing. So glad we have the Polar Lights Talladega chassis' to use for some of these late 60's early 70's Ford Stock cars.

Of course, the Polar Lights Talladega chassis is strictly different in many ways, but it is an effective way to eliminate quite a bit of time and effort in crafting the chassis and roll cage.
Ragtop Man Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Super impresssed with the accuracy and cleanliness of this build! It really "Feels" like a stock car, versus a standard kit with decals added. Really nice work, you should be very proud.
gami8630 Posted March 9 Author Posted March 9 Thanks, RagTop Man, Model Guy and Horrorshow, for your warm and complimentary replies.
