Yeah Nah Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Did this a while back and after a bit of a spruce up showing it here along with the newly finished drag version over in the appropriate Under Glass thread. A box art build using rattle can enamels with airbrushed acrylics for the interior. I love this old Trophy kit and have a third one that will be definitely be getting the top chop custom treatment! Thanks for looking. 6
Zippi Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 That's a good looking 36 Ford Roadster. Nicely done. 1
Jim B Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Great looking Ford. Love the color combination. 1
Andrew McD Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Very nice build. Some of the most realistic spark plug wiring I’ve ever seen. How did you do the plug wire boot ends? 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Sweet-looking stock rendition. Nicely done. 1
espo Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Beautiful looking roadster. Don't see one built as a stock vehicle very often, and the colors and finishes look great. 1
karbuildr Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Very nice build. I think that's the first one I've seen built stock. I really like the green with black fenders. Well done. 1

The boot ends are short lengths of insulation (that just happens to fit over perfectly) stripped from suitable size wire- in this case the cable from old landline telephones which has multiple strands of assorted colours.
carrucha Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Cool build. Nice to see this kit built factory stock. 1

happy grumpy Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Beautiful box art build. Love these old fat fenders. Thanks for sharing. 1
StevenGuthmiller Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 You know, I honestly think we often forget how pretty these cars were because we’ve become so accustomed to seeing them all hacked up. I’m sorry, but it’s just my opinion that it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to improve upon the looks of many of these vintage cars. Steve 1
