ewetwo Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 My latest project. A rack to hold my jars of paint. 1
BlackSheep214 Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 That’s all you got??? Amateur….. ROFLMAO!
Bills72sj Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 (edited) Good job. Going vertical saves desk space. I went bleacher style thanks to Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Pero-Sunglass-Organizer-Acrylic-Bottles/dp/B0BXL75LDH/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=pero%2Bpero&qid=1700101674&sr=8-2&th=1 Edited November 16, 2023 by Bills72sj added Amazon link 1
Oldriginal86 Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I have this vintage Testors paint rack that is gathering dust and I’m not using and my paints are all over my work bench.

ewetwo Posted November 16, 2023 Author Posted November 16, 2023 I have the duplicates put away in a box Thomas LOL. And I needed more space so I went vertical Bill. I had the step system before. And after building that I saw a rack on EBay that was one piece. Wish I saw that before. The plastic shelves came with screws and plastic sleeves so you could mount them right on the wall. But I didn't want to do theat. Pic of one piece shelf below.

Now I have/need to spend more money!! ????

They will hold up to 84 Testors bottles. Somewhat less of the Tamiya. The bigger Testors brush cleaner and Airbrush thinner are a snug fit. Tamiya panel liner does not fit but will sit on the lip square enough.
slusher Posted November 17, 2023 Posted November 17, 2023 I have a small square acrylic rack of 4 rows that keep the testers paint I use. All my extra or replacements at in a little organizer. Nice paint rack David!
ewetwo Posted November 18, 2023 Author Posted November 18, 2023 Thank you Carl. Wish I saw the other one first. Would have save me time. But the one I built does stand on it's own so it doesn't have to be wall mounted.
bobss396 Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 I need something for my paint cans. Right now the ones not in service sit in my front foyer in boxes.

When my wife guilted me into getting new master bedroom furniture, I got our old dresser as a hand-me-down. It works great to hold most all of my extra modeling supplies and parts boxes. You could probably pick one up from Goodwill. 1

I see them out at the curb all the time. I see interesting storage units at Hobby Lobby. Some have up to 10 drawers in them, tall but narrow.
