Great body style. There was a local one that was used to deliver auto parts, it had a 429 and factory 4-speed. I tried to buy it for a while, then it was gone.

Nice looking 71! You did it justice for sure! Crude start or not it came out very nicely.

I only see some minor issues with the print that could be fixed easily I think. Probably the reason I see them is I own one of these cars.

A friend of mine used to run a wrecker service and moved a lot of junk cars. I drove for him off and on when I was out on workman's comp.... Anyway, he got all of his cars at the junkyards, and so did i. Many times the cars had a minor issue that was easily fixable.

So he finds a '71 LTD for his wife to drive. It was quite clean, it needed a transmission. We changed it while it hung from the back of a tow truck. That car ran well for years.

Very nice to see this!  Nice job on the build!  It reminds me of my great uncle's white '71 LTD 2dr that he kept even after updating to a baby blue '74 2dr.  He seemed to like driving both, and seeing your build brings back great memories!

I would be most appreciative if you could point me to a source for one of these.

I 3D printed the body. The chassis and interior came from an AMT 69 Galaxie kit.
