TonyK Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Had some fun with this reissue trying to make it look tattered. Added some scratch-made things to the parts supplied. Can't see them very well due to my bad photography. 7
Bugatti Fan Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Lovely model, with great appeal to many of us old timers who used to watch the TV programme way back in the early 60's. Great cast. My favourite was the actress who played granny. Can remember one show where Jethro returned home saying ' What's for dinner tonight Grandma?' To which she replied ' Possum innards!'. Then Jethro asked 'And what about tomorrow Grandma?' To which she replied 'Leftovers!'. 2
espo Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Great looking reproduction of the old TV vehicle so central to the show.Â
Rattlecan Dan Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Great build. Nice job on the weathering and detailing. Hooo doggies!
Yeah Nah Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 "So they loaded up the truck and moved to Beverleee. HILLS that is.'' Top job on this famous Olds Tony. The weathering is spot on. And complete with Granny's blanket!
karbuildr Posted November 25, 2023 Posted November 25, 2023 Great weathering on a very well done vehicle.
#1 model citizen Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Well doggies! I see Granny’s got plenty of her special elixir on board. Nicely done!

Nosferatu Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Excellent rendition of this car! Lots of nice details. Dave
Matt87 Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 This looks very authentic. I enjoyed watching reruns of that show as a kid. Ellie was my favorite character.
Lobo2me Posted November 26, 2023 Posted November 26, 2023 Well done! The TV show and the great job you did on this model never go out of style.
happy grumpy Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Great build of a classic TV car. Very well reproduced, the weathering is spot on and the fine details add a lot of eye candy.
Bugatti Fan Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Funnily enough, recently I came across an article about weathering this model. It was something I saved out of an old Model Car Science from way back and kept in a folder.
