So.. I went to a flea market about a month ago and came home with a '90 Thunderbird SC that some kid had started long ago and lost gas on. With that, everything (besides a headlight lens) was present and usable except for the rear glass. The kid who started the kit had split the rear glass right down the middle. With that, I really don't want to buy another rear window piece as the piece would end up costing almost as much as what I paid for the kit. One thing that I have been trying to work out is if I could make a window out of a soda bottle as the car doesn't have that much of a curve to the back glass. However, I want other opinions, what do you think?

Wonder if this would work to make a 1:1 replacement for my 1:1 Pinto? Replacements are impossible to find.

Probably, if you could find someone with large enough vacu-forming machine.  Probably use 1/8" Lexan.

I made a rear-hatch window from clear acrylic sheet (plexiglass) for a little gen-1 Fiesta I rescued from a crackhead who only wanted its $50 scrap value. All it needed to be a daily driver (besides the window he'd smashed because it wouldn't run) was a fuel pump.
