Hi there,

this is my first kit with tobacco decals on it.

Decals are from Shunko. Paint is Tamiya spray and 1K clear.

I used carbon fibre decals for the monocoque and replaced the kit's air intake funnels with selfmade metal parts.

Very well done. Nice crisp detailing especially on the engine and carbon fibre.  Did you use Tamiya TS36 for the red?. Over what base.?   The color looks spot on.

Thanks Rich. Yes, I used TS-36 sprayed through the airbrush. Masking the read areas was done using BMF for having sharp edges. The base is Tamiya TS-101 Base White. By now I use this for all white bodies I paint. The beauty about it is that it's technically a white primer but it is glossy. So no extra white paint is required and you can apply decals right onto it.
