Cool Hand Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 (edited) Something different. Started with this kit Fitted some Pegasus wire wheels, lowered the stance. Seats are from my parts stash. Added some 3D printed parts,Ignition coil, Chain steering wheel, air tank and compressor's, Used a The Parts Box pre drilled distributor. Other than that basically an out of the box build. Painted with The Scale Modellers Supply Lava colour shift. Interior paint is Vallejo Mech Sand Yellow. Applied Alclad chrome to the bumpers, grill, wipers, side mirrors, door handles, rear vision mirror, exhaust, compressors and air tank. Applied Zurc Zuper Chrome to the chain steering wheel. Engine painted with The Scale Modellers Supply HK Rocket Red BMF applied to window trim, front indicators/turn signals and tail light surrounds. Have seen a few people dislike and complain about the DDA Collectibles plastic kits diecast origins, personally I really like the modular assembly system. Makes it very easy to paint, detail and build. And whats not to like, it a plastic kit of an Australian Car ? Edited December 15, 2023 by Cool Hand 9
Steve H Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 Another beauty Luke! As always, a flawless paint job, and clean crisp building style. I will definitely be purchasing at least one of the Holdens at some point. Great details on the air tanks and engine. The “chrome” paint on your builds looks better than most kit chrome. Very nice! Cheers, Steve 1
Phildaupho Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 Very cool van and a great bunch of photos 1
espo Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 Beautiful looking paint treatment. Like the body lines of the basic vehicle and wish we had something like that in 1:1 that we could buy here. Excellent interior and engine detailing. 1
Brockc Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 This is one nice van and completely off centre to every other car 1:1 Holden panel van in Australia. Keep up the good work man 1
Rob Hall Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 (edited) Sharp build..I got one of these kits recently, and got the DDA Holden Monaro GTS 4dr today in the mail. Love seeing kits of Australian cars. Edited December 15, 2023 by Rob Hall 1

ncbuckeye67 Posted December 18, 2023 Posted December 18, 2023 That is stunning! I love the color. That front end reminds me of a 70-71 Monte Carlo 1
