dusty_shelf
Trying to find a reasonable representation of the grill on a ‘33 Willys. The AMT “Ohio” George car has a solid nose and later releases of the kit only include a decal. There is one company producing a photo-etched rendering that is not very accurate and looks to be difficult to fit. The only other possibility is on the MPC Willys Paddy Wagon. Not the best but being a styrene piece, it might be modified. Anyone know of a better alternative? Thanks.
Mark
The MPC panel truck piece is the only styrene option. I don't know of any in resin, not even copies of the MPC piece.
Force
The Model Car Garage one is the only one I know of and it shouldn't be that hard to put on. https://www.modelcargarage.com/eshop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=121&idcategory=18 Edited December 19, 2023 by Force
stitchdup
theres a 3d printed kit with the grille. i think its an andrei berezovski (probably spelled his name wrong) kit so should be decent quality. I dont know how accurate it is. i think i've seen a resin grille on ebay too
dusty_shelf
Thanks for the replies. Here is the real deal compared to the MCG photo-etched and the MPC part.
