Never been a big fan of the malaise era. But the 85-88 line of corvette, firebird, Buick GN, 442 and Monte Carlo were the exception. OOB My only grippe about these,  the tires, I should have flatten them to reduce the 100 PSI look like they're ready to explode. Fun to build and the decals went on really smoothly , they react well with setting solution. I went for a box art look. Tamiya Pure White and TS13. Nothing fancy but it looks right at home alongside the 442 and Black GN.

As always , Thanks for looking and Happy holidays to all! ?

Great looking paint finish and the factory stripes look good. Just so happens we ordered a new '86 Monte Carlo SS in this same color combination. Like how you detailed the wheels.

Great looking Monte Carlo from a tough era. By this time the whole industry was starting to go in the right direction, but the foreign car makers had already run away with the pie and ate it too.

I really liked this body style, and still do actually. One of the gems from that era for sure. Another crisp, clean and well photographed model Mario. Looks fantastic.

Cheers, Steve
