Beans is correct: you certainly didn't get removed from the entry list! Once you're entered, you stay entered until, either, you withdraw or the Run ends.

I printed two sets of wheels for the RX3: 16x7 RS Watanabe RS and 15x7 Bridgestone RAP. The photo below shows a mock-up of the RAPs. Hopefully, I can do some post-processing tomorrow and mock-up the Watanabes as well.

o and no run through which is a first for me, the paint was good to start with so I started with 6000 in some places but ended up with 4000 and then all the way to 12000:)

Well, after making all the mods to my Fairlane chassis, I couldn't get the back half to work. Once it came out too high, now its sits angled down so I wound  up printing a universal chassis I designed and cut it to fit. Still needs a couple of crossmembers, the floor pans fabbed and installed but at least now I see the light. I had to take a break from it to see the forest for the trees.
Now for some more body cleanup, and prime it. I think maybe painting it will give me the kick in the rear it seems I need.

I mocked-up the Watanabes tonight. The ride height its actually kit height as the car is intended to have flares, so the ride height is lower than stock. I'm happy with the stance, so it'll remain.

Hello all! I hope everyone's builds are coming along. I've been working on the engine more and have now come to the front cover. Afterwards, it should it be onto the transmission, intake, ancillaries, and exhaust.

Final polish is done and I got the rubber black on. Might not ad the rubber thingy on the rear bumper.. will see how they look on there.

The front cover is effectively complete (less fillets and bolt details that I'm saving for the final step). Now, it's onto the oil pan.

Made some progress over the last days. Interior is coming along, the bmw inside door handles that I got from a forum member fits the Porsche nicely and ads some needed detail. I also painted the rear seat more like the 1:1 than what the kit gave, think will flock it with the floor. 
 

engine is also in and everything foyer nice when test fitting but now when it’s glued in the IC touches the body and the chassi won’t fit snug. Will se what I do tomorrow.

Wheels and brakes are done and rear suspension is glued in. The modified floor pan can be seen here.

I'm not sure what kit these wheels/tires came from but I've been saving them for a special project. I have the bosses modified for mounting. I'm very pleased with the kit engineers. Some forethought was involved. The wheel mounting posts aren't just some arbitrary size, they are 2.5mm in the front and 3.0mm in the rear. Making it easy to modify and re-drill the wheel bosses. I also added disc brakes to the inner surface of the wheel back so that it looks pretty authentic. More soon.

Those look like the wheels from the Revell “California Wheels” corvette that was out a few years ago.

Hello everyone! I hope your builds are coming along. Like always, if you have any updates, we'd definitely enjoying seeing them!

As for my update, I've been blocking-in the transmission. It's interesting to note how small a rotary engine really is!

So here's where I'm at on the 74 Plymouth...

As discussed in Q&A, I painted with Duplicolor products but the clear is just not getting hard. It spent a couple weeks off and on in the dehydrator and I went ahead and started cutting the clear with sandpaper and polish. Sands very easily because it's not that hard but I also can't get a satisfactory shine. More time seems to be the answer. Stripping it and starting over is not an option because if it comes to that then I'm out. 

I've encountered this once before, but it happened when I airbrushed nail polish. At the time I thought the polish had a softener to prevent chipping but it took over a year to harden.

The interior is mostly done, still need to detail the dash. Here's where the body stands right now...

Decided at the last minute to change the wheels and tires.  Which means redoing the rear suspension.  

I think I am just avoiding dealing with the little super glue blob I got on the roof.  Still not sure how I want to deal with that.

I ended up using the SVT cobra rear end (or at least most of it) and exhaust.

That color looks awesome!!  Hope the clear works out for you.

Does not look bad. I would let it sit a while and wax it. I wouldn’t strip it..
