AMT 1940 Willys Gasser Pickup

Finally finished with this hateful kit. I’ve never had more fitment issues in my life. I swear, even the two block halves didn’t fit. Final product isn’t a bad shelf sitter, but it definitely was a fight. Paint is Tamiya TS-45 Pearl White cleared with floor polish. The gold on the chassis and scoop is Mr Color Super Rich Gold. Headers were faux “heat treated” with Tamiya clear blue, clear orange and clear yellow applied over the kit chrome. Decals from Slixx. Wired distributor by Gofer. Box wheels and front tires, rear tires from the AMT parts pack.
