AAR Castrol Reynard CART

Finished up today, the first in 2024.  The decals were old and brittle but went OK until I got to the eagle nose.  Fortunately there were extra pieces for the road course version so I was able to patch in without looking too bad.

Great to see. One of my favourite liveries from the CART era and of course I have always been a Dan Gurney fan. I saw this car race in road/street course configuration at Vancouver. Dan never forgave Toyota for dropping his CART team especially considering all the success he previously brought Toyota in IMSA.

I feel your pain with the decals.  I am currently working on the Motorola Reynard 98i, and the decals are definitely old, brittle, & stiff.  Mine have the consistency of that thin flash you see on AMT kits.  Just horrible.

Wow, Bruce. Somehow, I missed this one 8 months ago. Thank you, German, for resurrecting it.  Excellent build in every way possible. Paint, decal work, cleanliness of build, and stance. You've got it all here.  Sorry for the late kudos. This one surely deserves it.
