I don't believe so in TS spray cans -- the blues are all too bright or intense. If you can source the AS aircraft colour range, then I think AS-5 Luftwaffe Light Blue is about as close as you can get in a Tamiya spray can.

is there anything close in Tamia spray cans close to Gulf racing blue?

DRAGONHAWK 1066 posted a picture of his '55 Ford f-100 done in Gulf Livery. The paint work looks great and I'm sure he would share any paint info with you that would help with your build.

I think there are some that come fairly close in spray cans. Color Shot makes one called Clear Skies, Krylon makes or made one I think called Bahama Blue(?), Montana Gold has a Baby Blue, and Rustoleum has one called Maui Blue, though I'm not too impressed with Rustoleum. I used the Krylon on a GT40 a few years ago and it looked right to me.

Carl, I had also been looking for a color spray similar to the original Triumph powder blue as I don't have an airbrush. I found and bought a few spray-cans "VW/Audi florida blue LA 5 A" which is a close match I think:

Look here: the 1969 Le Mans winner is a diecast, whereas the 1966 Ken Miles Mk II was spraypainted with it (Auto-K and Duplicolor had it in their range) but that was about 35 years ago. I have no idea if the paint is still available, but I will use it for all my Gulf kits (Mirage, GT40 and 917):
