James2 Posted January 20, 2024 Posted January 20, 2024 (edited) One of the RMCC guys got me building Pro Street so I started this one recently... 66 Chevy chassis lengthened to proper wheelbase. AMT Chevy interior tub and parts box seats (58 Chevy) Made up a cage and radi supports, front stiffeners and new spindles. Piecing together the chevy engine and a stance view with Texas3D Daisey Wheels. Edited January 20, 2024 by James2 12

Zippi Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 That engine is going to look fine in the business end of that 55.
FoMoCo66 Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 Nice 55 I dont have the nerve to part out kits just for the chassis but good work.
Keef Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 Absolutely stunning!! I have so many questions that the pics just don’t answer!! What color is that interior? How did you merge the 2 underhood/inner fender/ firewall areas?
keviiin86 Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 Wow looks awesome, great stance and wheel/tire choice! Where did you get the rear tires?
AmericanMuscleFan Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 Superb job James, that's a really nice project, I love the stance! ? Sammy Hagar sang "I can't drive 55" but he would certainly drive your 55...! ?
TransAmMike Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 Looking great James....your mods and the engine are imprerssive?

The chassis fit nicely after extending it about 1/4" and after fitting the firewall I just had to fill in under the windshield cowl. Then I noticed the inner fenders would fit, soooooo. I did make a radi support thought. I'm actually surprised it worked out so well.

I found them in my spare parts box, I do believe the could be from one of the older gasser kits maybe the 57 flip nose vette. I added the Hoosier logo from a decal sheet then sprayed them with flat clear. 1
