Zippi
I got the Tamiya X-22 Clear airbrushed on earlier. I'll let it set for about an hour then put it in the Dehydrator for a few hrs. This Tamiya clear takes a long time to totally cure out but once it's dry I'll wet sand and polish it out.
ksnow
That body color will look great against the chassis. Excellent choice of colors again.

Zippi
I have the body wet sanded and polished. Now the assembly starts. I'm going to start with the rear view mirror on the windshield. I hate trying to install these mirrors.

David G.
The paint looks really good Bob. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the pairing of that chassis and body. It sort of reminds me of one I saw years ago, a VW bug on a similar chassis. Don't get me wrong, I like where you're going with it. It's just very unique... attention grabbing. David G. When I started this project I had the old 37 Ford Little Big Foot in mind which served as a Marmon-Herrington 4WD prototype for a US military vehicle. Then I saw the old 37 Chevy pulling truck called "Orange Blossom Special" and briefly headed in that direction. I have my 66 Chevy Monster truck setting in front of me on the work bench so that's what got me where I'm at today. A fellow over on my Youtube channel said it reminded him of the old "Outlaw 35" Monster truck from back in the late 80's. Zippi
I got the front and rear glass installed. The back rubber gasket around the glass was painted with Tamiya XF-85 Rubber Black and the front gasket was hit with a black sharpie. Installing the rear view mirror went pretty good this time around.

Pierre Rivard
Way cool and creative project. Wonderful example of out of box thinking, and I do like the cow catcher.
