This was a very nice kit to assemble. The windshield was broken when I got it, so I grabbed out the one from the 60 Impala kit. The paint is Duplicolor GM light blue over a base coat of Tamiya Coral Blue, and made it more of an aqua tone.

That is absolutely stunning! These look so beautiful in stock form, I don't think I could bring myself to do my usual "restomod thing". I picked up one of these at a show last year, and after seeing your build, I may have to move this up to the front of the list.

Great looking Cadillac. That had to take some foil to trim this. Likie the neatly detailed body and engine compartment.

Surprisingly, the windshield was a  pretty easy fit.  It wasn't quite exact.  I lopped off the pins on the inside of the roof and slid the glass forward until I was just at the edge of the top of it, then clamped into place and glued it.   I may try to make a replacement for the Impala later from the caddy's original piece.

I'm partial to Cadillacs, and this is one clean build! Nicely done. Those tires look better than the kit supplied ones too.

The tires were missing from this kit.  I snagged a set from the AMT '49 Mercury that fit.  I had other tires that'll fit the Merc.  :)
