fumi
I have been waiting for this since I was a kid in the 80's. Completely new tool. Can't wait for it to come out.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net
Wow. That would be a fun build. I'm on my second 1:1 Volkswagen Golf GTI and I would like to build a model of the French hot hatch equivalent!
Luc Janssens
Would be neat to have a series of Hot Hatches....
dbostream
If it is a full detail 1:24 kit my prayers have been answered.

Spottedlaurel
Good news! I hope it's a bit quicker to the market than some of the kits they announced for 2023 - the Renault 4F van for example is still listed as "Coming soon"..... iamsuperdan
I'm definitely interested in this one.

1972coronet
La Puissance ! My friend has a "1985/1986" 205 GTI which he's had for 25 years -- one of two (or some small number) in the U.S. ... at least as of c.1998. What 'makes' it a "1985/1986" ? Apparently it was titled as a "1985" in France, but is considered a "1986" in the U.S. - and is officially registered as a 1986 model ( go figger). Ne'er-the-less, it's a really fun li'l car. Too bad that Peugeot didn't import the 205 for the U.S. market , especially during the mid-late 1980's.

It seems most kits announced for 2023 were delayed until this year. At least the car related kits I am interested in. I asked Heller about the trailers for example and they said april. It's good to see they're still going at it because Heller looked dormant for a while.

Could be and if yes, they probably will be molded in clear, cuz Heller always has been a bit different than mainstream Edited August 31, 2024 by Luc Janssens Because I felt like it. rrb124@sbcglobal.net
Looking forward to seeing this kit. Great! Could look good next to my Golf GTI kit.
stitchdup
the last era of decent cars from peugeot was when these were around. the 1.6 was fun but the 1.9 had a somewhat predictable habit of spinning 180 on tight corners if you booted it at the right time. they were unbeatable in stock autotests for a while until the focus rs arrived. i had 2 of these when i worked in the bodyshop but one was a 4 door diesel that always felt like it was in the wrong gear. it would be cool to build a modernised version so i'll get at least 1

Bugatti Fan
A colleague of mine back in the early nineties owned one. Reckoned it was the best sporty car he ever had. Good to see Heller making a kit of this particular car that was very popular with enthusiast drivers back in the day.
dbostream
And here is the interior. The kit must be an older version the one I remember had a different nicer looking steering wheel. https://www.kitreviewsonline.de/der-neue-heller-bausatz-in-124-3/
stitchdup
mine was a similar looking but chunkier wheel. something looks a bit off with the whole wheel/gauges area. its almost like its been pulled back and up

Justin Porter
Genuinely that's looking like it will be a pretty nice kit. I'll hold out hope they'll do an Alpine A610 or GTA.

DJMar
I am very excited for this, even though the pre-release info has been scarce. I'll have to build at least 1.
