Sharp eye on that body line Bill, I’m inclined to agree with you, it appears crisper on the original kit.

Nice work so far on your Demon! The stance w the kit tires looks great. 

I'm planning on start mine once the Hornets nest the  squirrels opened up gets finished

One little thing on this kit too.  Dodge never offered a manual transmission in the Duster and Demon in 71 with a console.   I just realized that.

Have you folks noticed that the seats that you would think that are all black in the 71s (buckets)  are actually black and grey inserts?   I just kind of noticed that in the last week or two.

I got some Tamiya clear on this end of last week.

 

And was quite displeased in the gloss it gave...or lack of to be more accurate. 

 

I spent almost all day polishing it by hand . It's OK. 

But far from perfect.

 

I'll go back to duplicolor or maybe Upohl urethane clear from here on.

 

I'm in southern AZ. So can't blame it on humidity....we ain't got none
