So maybe you all in detail builders might look into some fine masking . sanding body line work to sharpen it Sharp eye on that body line Bill, I’m inclined to agree with you, it appears crisper on the original kit.
gotnitro? Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 Nice work so far on your Demon! The stance w the kit tires looks great. I'm planning on start mine once the Hornets nest the squirrels opened up gets finished 1
drodg Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 One little thing on this kit too. Dodge never offered a manual transmission in the Duster and Demon in 71 with a console. I just realized that. 1
bill-e-boy Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 Looking good. That Duster engine looks like a good representative of the LA engine. And I like the colour too
drodg Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 Have you folks noticed that the seats that you would think that are all black in the 71s (buckets) are actually black and grey inserts? I just kind of noticed that in the last week or two. 1
gtx6970 Posted February 26, 2024 Author Posted February 26, 2024 I got some Tamiya clear on this end of last week. And was quite displeased in the gloss it gave...or lack of to be more accurate. I spent almost all day polishing it by hand . It's OK. But far from perfect. I'll go back to duplicolor or maybe Upohl urethane clear from here on. I'm in southern AZ. So can't blame it on humidity....we ain't got none
