This is basically a 1999 Lightning disguised as a junker F150. Base kit is the Revell F&F Lightning with 3D printed steel wheels of unknown origin, a Revell 1997 F-150 grille left over from updating another project, and a Lindberg 4x4 bumper. Some mismatched panels and generally being dirtied up complete the illusion.

Somehow, even though the Revell Lightning kit has existed for a good quarter century now, this is the first time I've actually built one.

Like the paint finish. Every now and then you will see something like this on the road. Makes you wonder what all had happened to the truck in the past.

That's way cool. It reminds me of a truck that would drive around the city I used to live in. It was all different colors, like yours, and had a sign on the back that said "this truck was built with all used parts" then had the name of the wrecking yard and their phone number.
