The AMT 1937 Chevy gasser of MOODY & JONES

The iconic AMT 1937 GASS MASTER CHEVY kit. Although I like the 40-41 Willy’s body better the 37 Chevy is my number 2 choice of gasser . I built this mostly from the 37 Chevy which I had robbed for the drag parts from. Not wanting to build a stocker or a custom with it. I combined it with the engine left over from the Moebius Chevy 2 gasser kit . The rear wheels are from the Amt 33 Willy’s. I sprayed it with good old testors enamel topped with a few coats of wet look clear. With out a set of decals I decided to just hand paint the door lettering. The stance is good looking with just the stock springs I did use a straight piece of aluminum tubing for the axle. It looks great from all angles until next time thanks for looking, Mike

This Gasser is super slick. Checking out the big headers sticking out of the bottom. My kit is unbuilt and next in line.

I dig it! 37s make great gassers, and you nailed it. The gold paint has a cool period vibe.
