That generation of Ontario licence plate is probably more accurate if you leave the decal off. Notorious for the covering peeling off the plate in a very short period of time.

Paint?  I could just blame Jalopnik again, but in looking for pics of these a LOT of Mercury trucks seem to have painted bright work.  Not always, but frequently.  So we split the difference.

Part of it maybe. We kinda know why Mssrs Coulter, Budniewski and Winspear got their names on decals, but what's the connection here?

I'm just waiting to hear how an old Detroit arena ties in with a vintage Canadian market truck
