Bronzekeg Posted March 31, 2024 Posted March 31, 2024 I have been wanting to build this kit for years. unsure of color at this point depending on what I can find. it won't be red or green as I have already built 32's those colors. c&c welcome as usual and thanx for looking. 9
TopherMcGinnis Posted March 31, 2024 Posted March 31, 2024 Reminds me of the McMullen Roadster. Your Coupes are Cool! 2
NOBLNG Posted March 31, 2024 Posted March 31, 2024 I’m sure it will look right at home beside those two beauties.?
Zippi Posted March 31, 2024 Posted March 31, 2024 Great looking kit with the Doval windshield. Those other Hot Rods look pretty kewl. I'll be building this kit later this year. I'll be watching this build.
FoMoCo66 Posted March 31, 2024 Posted March 31, 2024 This looks like a bitchen project. The revell 32s are the best looking in my opinion.

Bronzekeg Posted April 6, 2024 Author Posted April 6, 2024 after testing different colors on spoons, I decided to paint the model using testors pure gold. so far the chassis has been painted and the engine started. 2

Bronzekeg Posted April 7, 2024 Author Posted April 7, 2024 engine is pretty much done and was painted testors bronze. I got it mounted in the chassis and started on the front axle. if I can find another one of these kits I'm going to get it. 3
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 Engine looks great, chassis does too, and those two 5-windows are fine fine fine.
LennyB Posted April 7, 2024 Posted April 7, 2024 Very cool project, can't get enough of these earl Fords.
Bronzekeg Posted April 8, 2024 Author Posted April 8, 2024 a little more progress has been made. still need to do the front shocks and supports. I cut the headlights off of them so I can use larger ones. I guess the next step will be the interior. 5
Zippi Posted April 8, 2024 Posted April 8, 2024 Great color for the chassis. That Testors bronze really makes everything Pop.

Bronzekeg Posted April 9, 2024 Author Posted April 9, 2024 I got the interior done. it was painted krylon off white and testors flat rubber. steering wheel from the spares box, a leftover from the 29 roadster kit. I was then able to mock up the body before painting it and the hood and grille assemblies. I like this kit so well I ordered another one online the other day. 2
Bronzekeg Posted April 9, 2024 Author Posted April 9, 2024 while paint on the body work is drying I touched up the interior and worked on the guitar. 4
Rattlecan Dan Posted April 9, 2024 Posted April 9, 2024 Wow! Nice already. If it turns out half as nice as those other two it will be gorgeous.

Bronzekeg Posted April 10, 2024 Author Posted April 10, 2024 the body, interior, and firewall have been put on the chassis. next are the radiator assembly, headers and brakes. 1
