Bilingham Posted April 9, 2024 Posted April 9, 2024 This build is several years old. 1/24 scale, designed in Fusion 360 and resin printed on an Anycubic Mono X printer. 18
Yeah Nah Posted April 9, 2024 Posted April 9, 2024 Wow! Impressive work Bill. Are those spoke wheels 3D printed as well?
Bainford Posted April 9, 2024 Posted April 9, 2024 Very impressive. That is a gorgeous model of the 156. Just lovely. 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted April 9, 2024 Posted April 9, 2024 Staggeringly beautiful modeling. I've seen your work in person, and there's nothing in 1/24-1/25 that even comes close. 1
Mike 1017 Posted April 9, 2024 Posted April 9, 2024 Very, Very, Nice! IMO the best looking F1 ever. Mike 1
Rich Chernosky Posted April 9, 2024 Posted April 9, 2024 Incredible...and that engine is spectacular. Thanks for posting.
Bilingham Posted April 9, 2024 Author Posted April 9, 2024 Here's another unusual subject, the Porsche Cisitalia 360. 4
1959scudetto Posted April 9, 2024 Posted April 9, 2024 Excellent models - the Ferrari looks like it was a bigger scale with its very fine details. 1
Chinacar Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Epic stuff. I just finished a project in Blender. I hope it comes out half as nice as yours!
absmiami Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Treat the forum to a couple of shots of the Ferrari clutch housing - por favor - maybe the drawing and the printed and finished part ….
Bugatti Fan Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Really lovely models. I take my hat off to you guys who can use 3D Cad to this sort of degree, and then follow on by building, detailing and painting the model to Bill's standard. If you design a Bugatti 251 Bill, please do an extra set of parts for me !
Tommy124 Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Fantastic work on both models. I'm not an expert in 3D-printing, but... if this is what you achieved using the technical standard of years ago, hard to imagine what you could achieve today...
Leo64 Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Both of those are really great looking. The stuff you've come up with is nice. I've looked every so often for a Shark Nose 3D file, but all I've ever seen is a one piece file, not broken up into parts to make it easier to paint and detail. Steve A.
Pierre Rivard Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Technology and artistry joining forces in a spectacular way. Incredible replicas of historic race cars. 1
Earl Marischal Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 Superb work on both. The Sharknose is my all time favourite F1 car. Was lucky enough to see the replica version in the Ferrari museum some years ago. steve
iBorg Posted April 22, 2024 Posted April 22, 2024 If you ever start to sell prints, I hope I'm able to buy both of these.
Rattlecan Dan Posted April 24, 2024 Posted April 24, 2024 Both are absolutely beautifully done. Great detail and workmanship. Thanks for posting.
