Would be even better if they can tool up some proper Shelby wheels as well. 1

Round 2 not only recoloured the original box art photo of a real car from red to white, but also "corrected" the wheels to match the incorrect ones in the actual kit. They even Photoshopped in the BFG tires it came with. Hopefully, if Round 2's recent Shelby Charger is any indication, which featured updated Eagle ZR45s (as seen in HPI Guy's video), this kit would be really nice on a set of those. In a perfect world, they would have corrected the crab wheels, but maybe someone has an aftermarket set available? 1

Chuck Kourouklis Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 (edited) Gotta agree. Could really get with one of those. Seems about as boneheaded a selection as the boat-tail Riv our domestic crew is still refusing to make some money offa... Edited June 21, 2024 by Chuck Kourouklis

I don't recall giving any indication what the next version of the '68 Coronet might be. Whatever it is next will require additional tooling. To see what I'm actually working on for 2025 and beyond stop by our table at the DAAM show near Detroit on Sunday. -Steve 6 1

spkgibsonfirebird Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Thanks for the information, I'd love to see the '68 and '69 Torino hardtop/convertible kits brought back , I have both kits, but newly tooled versions of the hardtops and convertibles would be amazing, the original 1969 is the only version that has the hardtop to glue on to the body, the '68 was only done as the convertible and fastback. Both as the kits I mentioned would be great sellers for us Ford muscle car fans! 1
