Don't look now (well, actually do), but this looks to be a reissue of the 2nd version of the Pro-Modeler tool circa mid 1990s, and it has some very cool parts in it, including (IIRC) essentially a back-halved chassis with a competition/G-Machines style four bare rear end and all other kinds of goodies.  TB s

This reissue would be even better if Round2 would make some correct VR-50 Gatorbacks for it - the originals (and subsequent reissues) have the (outdated) BFG's.

Would be even better if they can tool up some proper Shelby wheels as well.

Congrats on the nice Photoshop work here. Round 2 not only recoloured the original box art photo of a real car from red to white, but also "corrected" the wheels to match the incorrect ones in the actual kit. They even Photoshopped in the BFG tires it came with.

Hopefully, if Round 2's recent Shelby Charger is any indication, which featured updated Eagle ZR45s (as seen in HPI Guy's video), this kit would be really nice on a set of those.

In a perfect world, they would have corrected the crab wheels, but maybe someone has an aftermarket set available?

Gotta agree. Could really get with one of those.

Seems about as boneheaded a selection as the boat-tail Riv our domestic crew is still refusing to make some money offa...

Adding more predictions for 2025:

MPC Mission Impossible 69 Coronet convertible

MPC 69 Coronet hardtop kit

MPC 72/73 Dodge pickup

MPC 68 Hurst Hemi Under Glass kit

I second this, also make the '68 and '69 Coronet as Dick Landy drag cars. Offer flat hoods with the 500 grills for us that want something other then the R/T.

Round 2 stated the next 68 Coronet kit will be a drag car.  Not a Landy Coronet, but the Feverbee 68 Coronet.

I don't recall giving any indication what the next version of the '68 Coronet might be.   Whatever it is next will require additional tooling.  To see what I'm actually working on for 2025 and beyond stop by our table at the DAAM show near Detroit on Sunday.

Revell Dick Landy B/Modified Production 1968 Dodge Charger - Spotlight Hobbies

Looks like Dick is really jammed in the upper corner trying to see beyond the hood. And the steering wheel's gotta be hurting his chest.?

Although I won’t be there, I hope some kind soul will post pics here for all to see!  Always excited to see what Steve and crew are digging up for us!  (Though my wallet will be less happy!)

Thank you for all your efforts, Steve, and for keeping us regular guys in the loop!!

Thanks for the information, I'd love to see the '68 and '69 Torino hardtop/convertible kits brought back , I have both kits, but newly tooled versions of the hardtops and convertibles would be amazing, the original 1969 is the only version that has the hardtop to glue on to the body, the '68 was only done as the convertible and fastback. Both as the kits I mentioned would be great sellers for us Ford muscle car fans!
