My wife and I recently drove across country from Arizona to NJ and back. We stopped in Bowling Green Kentucky at the National Corvette Museum. What a very well laid out place! It described the beginning of the Vette all the way thru all its changes including the prototypes. It housed so many one of a kind and very rare Vettes. There was a rally there as well and the parking lot was loaded with Vettes. There was also a track for people to drive. I didnt go to the track but could hear the cars.

Is the sinkhole and the cars that fell into it still there?

The sinkhole was back in 2014. They filled it in and you can walk on where it was. There’s also a viewing port.

The whole sink hole thing was a real disaster. Read some time ago that they were able to rebuild most if not all of the original cars. Beautiful looking facility and I would hope to visit in the future as well.
