Trying to start them young. She is 5 and has built a few snap kits with Pap. I let her brush paint where she can and she also applied the Future clear coat. Pap helps her push the parts together they are too tight for her. I make her locate the parts on the instructions and find them in the box. Pap trims them for her. Great times!

She did a wonderful job, with a little help from Pap! I hope she still has this model 40 years from now and remembers your time together.

I agree with Emre, the time spent with your granddaughter has to be really special for both of you. Her Corvette looks great.

Super awesome!  Great looking Vette. Well done Pap. Fun times.

If she has a little free time, get her to put together a short tutorial on clear coating for the forum.

That's awesome! It reminds me of the time spent with my own granddaughter, doing exactly the same thing. She even entered a build from a "make & take" at a show once.

I just gave her a nice big brush with a paint cup of future floor wax, told her to paint the whole car except for the tires. We let it sit overnight and it looks like this! Lol

Wonderful to see these snap kits used as they are intended for, introducing our younger generation into the hobby. Well done to you both and keep on keeping on.

Cheers,

David. ??
