Restomod Schwimmwagen

Club build theme was "water". Since I mainly build cars this was a bit of a challenge. The usual rally car/water splash was suggested but I wanted something different and i came up with an amphibious vehicle. The schwimmwagen was the most interesting looking and I found a 3D file on Thingiverse for one thanks to "WindhamGraves" who posted it. Best fun came when I put it into Cura and started playing with the xyz coordinates. to get a 1/24 scale, the x went to 350%, y to 390% and z to 300% which meant I had the correct wheelbase and wider and lower body!! I only have a filament printer so the body (tub?) is a bit ruff but as it was going into a diorama I figured I'd get away with it. The setting was obvious for a schwimmwagen for a water theme..... the desert.
