I just purchased the same kit and being my first 3D printed project I was totally surprised at how much sanding is required. I found  a video on Facebook by a professional printer who has come up with a concoction that can be brushed on and sanded off. He says it’s the best solution he’s found so far and he’s tried them all. I think this could be a very long project.

Wow, this will be a cool build, where did you find a kit like this?

I think so too. Very cool looking concept. As Dan stated below, you can find the kit on Cults. Black Box has some really cool products out there.

Did you use a filament printer or a liquid resin printer? There is usually minimal sanding if layer heights and support settings are dialed in.

Carb linkages, fuel lines, and pre-wired distributers added. Fuel blocks added to the front of intake manifolds. I will be adding MSD ignition and coils to each as well.

Thanks, Jeff! I think the colors go together well with each other.

Made some good progress last night. If you haven’t tried the Revell chrome spray paint, it is definitely worth it.

Been able to finish the interior. Added some photo etched parts, stereo, speakers, and a digital display.

Wow, this is definitely unique!

What a massive setup and you got superb detailing going.

There are some racing features which I like!

Definitely interested to see how it turns out.  Keep it up!

Looks really nice! Did you use a clear coat on the chrome?

I had fingerprints all over even after two weeks of resting and drying in a warm and dry room.
