Keef Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 (edited) Ran across these at Walmart some time back and bought a couple for storage. They are perfect for storing all the small parts for your current projects or final assembly projects. The best part is they are only .94 cents each. I have a dozen so far and they are definitely worth it!! *edit* they are located in the school supplies section. Edited May 19, 2024 by Keef 4
carrucha Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 Nice tip. I also use small plastic boxes to store small parts during a build. Prevents small parts from getting lost. I buy deli meats that come in small plastic boxes and reuse those boxes to store parts. 1
bobss396 Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 I use something similar from HL. They have a smaller stackable set, so did Michael's Crafts. I use old pill jars too.

1930fordpickup Posted May 27, 2024 Posted May 27, 2024 I picked up a couple of those plastic containers from Walley world last fall. I found a deck of cards fits nicely inside. They dont snap tight like other containers so when you open them up parts don't go flying. I keep saying I need to grab a few more before I never see them again. When I picked up mi e they had several differsnt sizes, but that was last fall.
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted June 1, 2024 Posted June 1, 2024 If I was that organized, I'd get twice as much done.... -RRR 1
bobss396 Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 At work, one guy used to save me these small containers that connector contacts came in. They were ESD pink and the tops closed real tight. Small enough to store in the kit boxes. I do label everything I store.

NOBLNG Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 I bought a couple of sizes of tiny ziplock baggies at the dollar store. Any small parts I remove from the trees that aren’t being used right away get put in a baggie and back in the box. Great for storing clear and chrome parts too.
stavanzer Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 I use the Gallon Ziplock Bags to store assorted parts in my stash. Bodies, and other large parts all go in them. I also have lots of Chrome trees, and those go the gallon bags too. I use the smaller sandwich size baggies for smaller parts, engines, wheels and tires, ect. Then the Bags go into Banker's Boxes.
