ismaelg Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 (edited) Hello, Need to convert an AMT '67 Impala SS kit from buckets to a bench seat. Any suggestions? Thanks, Ismael Edited May 20, 2024 by ismaelg
hedotwo Posted May 19, 2024 Posted May 19, 2024 Part way down on this page is how I did the bench seat.
ismaelg Posted May 19, 2024 Author Posted May 19, 2024 (edited) Thank you! That looks absolutely gorgeous! Now I need to find one of the back seats. Thanks, Ismael Edited May 19, 2024 by ismaelg
TheBEAUMONTGURU Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 The 1966 Buick Riviera Kit has a really nice "stratobench". techincally to be correct only the 1967 Caprice had the stratobench as an option( but only the 67 chevy gurus will know that piece of trivia). It works very nicely in an impala too. I ended up just building my own stratobench from the 2 bucket seats in the SS kit(see picture), but then i found out the riviera has one already!
mikemodeler Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Harts Parts Resin has a 67 Chevelle bench seat conversion kit, that might work with some mods. Includes front and back seats.
ismaelg Posted May 20, 2024 Author Posted May 20, 2024 Thank you all for the suggestions! All are great! I would like to try modifying the back seat of a '67 in order to keep the correct seat pattern. Anybody has one to sell or trade? Thanks, Ismael
ismaelg Posted May 23, 2024 Author Posted May 23, 2024 Thank you all! A back seat is in the mail on its way here. Thanks, Ismael 1
