I'm happy to say that the work on the bottom of the hood sides and body got finished. Has a nice smooth flowing bead off the fender meeting the body now. Also, kind of redid the beltline on the hood to come to a point. I just think it looks better.  These mods on the bottom bead were well worth the effort.  I've also got a little more done on the rear of the car. It was time to build the wheel wells to fit the rear tires I plan on using.

That's some really nice work with those hood sides Paul You are doing a great job

Today was a good day, dropped the sedan off at the muffler shop to get the scavenger pipes installed. New guy was in, not great with a bender but has some great cut and weld skills.
Just about sone with all the chassis work so it’s time for a cooling system.
Interior is complete with a wheel from the Revell Custom merc.

Loving this look Bil I can't wait to see how this one turns out

I used a file to round the bottom of clear sprue, then cut it off, glued it to the fuel pump and painted it clear orange.

Usually these are mostly hidden but on this one it's right out in the open, so I thought it could use a bit more detail.

Simple but fun!

Got the interior and motor done. Lots of issues with the old guage decals but happy with the rest of the interior.

Added a few details like the door handles, window toggle switches, glovebox door handle, modified steering column indicator and gear selector stems, spoon accelerator pedal, hand brake lever and the widened wheel tubs on the rear seat. Other wise stock

I'm making (slow) progress on the final assembly of my sedan. The engine is completed. The SBC block and accessories are from the Testors Boydster. I had components aftermarket chromed many years ago. This seemed to be a perfect opportunity to use it. The T-5 trans is from a Mustang kit. Block hugger headers are from the Revell '37 Ford. The interior is dialed in. Front seats and door panels are from the Speedwagon. I used a second set of seats to make the headrests. Dash center section and gauge panel is from the Revell '37 Ford convertible (blue kit). Billet style steering wheel is from the Monogram 55 Ford pickup (red kit). I'm using the IFS from the AMT Phantom Vickie [sic] and photoetched disc brakes. I have so little space between the discs and the wheel, I'm having a hard time fitting in brake calipers (track width is a concern). I'm using some resin calipers from Reps and Mins of MD. Hopefully I can get this done over the upcoming long weekend.

@Rocking Rodney Rat sent me a set of Replicas and Miniature of Maryland Vintage Wire Wheels w/BIG&LITTLE Tires for the '32 Ford Chauffeured Driven Town Sedan:

After careful consideration, the decision had to be made in favor of the Replicas and Miniature of Maryland Rat Rod Tires & Wire Wheels:

The early mockup of the '32 Ford Chauffeured Driven Town Sedan showed that the size of the BIG&LITTLE Tires really made the difference... -KK

After a short pause while my nieces were home I've got back to this. My last post i talked about curving a spare grille but after doing it,  well it looked naff and only suceeded in wrecking 2 grilles, so i needed another plan. the result of which involved a new mini front end and a bug hood for an approximation of a indy car if it didn't need a grille and had lights instead. i think i can hide their mini origins with some detail painting. its only in the early stages but the shape is starting to come together. the outside of the body has a 2mm wedge chop using the bottom edge of the rear glass for the rear corner and the front top corner for the front. this saved cutting the roof (for now) and brought the pillars close enough to be fixed with a file later. then i chopped only the centre of the roof another 4mm. i added a split spoiler to the roof but think i might have another idea forming for it, so we'll see if it lasts. next up is finishing up the front end, suspension and chassis/aero....stay tuned, its about to get wilder....lol

Well, not too sure if this thing is going to see the finish line date. If I weight time spent versus what little time is left, well it just doesn't look good. I actually thought I would do better. There are a couple guys that are almost done and have done some great work! Others not too far behind. Sometimes being a slow builder just don't work in a place like this. I'm just going to keep on plugging along and see what happens.

The last update of my '32, left off getting the wheel tubs finished up. At this point it is ready for the rear frame to be modified to fit between the new wheel tubs. First thing to be done is to cut the frame apart to remove a sizable chunk out of the middle. I chose to save the gas tank, and it will be reinstalled in its original location This got things close, but the rails did not run true to the tubs as the front part of the frame section is wider than the rear. To fix this, a small amount of material was removed get things straightened out.

The rear frame section now fits. And fits nice and snug. So next is the gas tank. It needs a place to mount. Some pieces of 0.60 sheet were used to build a new floor at the very back.

After the new rear floor was cleaned up and finished, it was time to rejoin the rear frame section too the main frame. A couple small pieces of .080x.156 evergreen is used to create the area to glue too. Once glued in place, it was left to dry overnight

Still more to do now that the frame is rejoined. I did get the rear seat narrowing started. Will show that next time.

Here's a couple pics of the car fitting together. Also added the vent door.

I’m actually really enjoying your superb craftsmanship and I’m enjoying seeing it come together - regardless of how long it takes!

Update!
Chassis is ? % done! Spent a little time doing some extra touchups and maybe a little  drop of Tamiya panel line black fell in there a couple of times. Yes I know the brake master and booster are not in there, hadn’t decided if I was going to mount to the firewall or not.
I usually don’t stress too much about the detail of the chassis as they rarely if ever get seen by anyone again. Now to flip it over and see where I can continue,

@Speedpro as far as I know it’s not a race! Your build is very well detailed and it will take the time it takes, keep up the great work!

@BullybeefI realize it's not a race! lol, I sure wouldn't be doing this if it was! When I first started this project, I had all the intentions of it being a fairly simple build. But as always, my builds seem migrate in another direction. I just thought it would be great to meet the deadline like most everyone else.

I always enjoy your posts, Paul! Keep on it, I hope to see it done some day. You and KK @Kit Karson always perform such precision cutting while I'm using a scale chainsaw! -RRR

@Rocking Rodney Rat, I think your pretty darn good with that there chainsaw! You create some builds!! As far as the precision cutting thing goes, @Kit Karson is like the best at that. He helps me quite a bit with figuring out an idea and how to do it. He's so good at that! I myself, I'm just a hack that knows how to cover his tracks really good! Anyhow, I have all intensions of finishing this thing. I just hope it's not "someday" when its finished!

I have completed the interior of my Tudor. The banjo steering wheel and dash are from Model Car Garage and I fashioned a bit of a Tiki shift knob. The upholstery pattern was altered and thin solder was used for the trim on the door panels. The blue is Tamiya Light Metallic Blue which will be the exterior colour. Both the blue and the Tamiya Pearl White were matt coated.

Being the #1 HACK in this Tree-O, means that I just hide my mistakes better than U'all! @Speedpro & @Rocking Rodney Rat & I go back soo many decades that it makes my sides hurt when I laugh at the antics going on here! The skill level of those in just this thread alone, amaze me! The creative sauce being poured on some of the builds here is causing me to salivate & drool like a silly schoolboy at a hotdog eating contest! Come on, guys! Keep cookin' up great deuce sedan builds like ballpark franks sizzling on the grill at the local JV ball game! Keep the HOMERUN HITS comin'!!-KK

I've made a start on the aero. I opened up the vents on the running boards and they now exit at the rear. i'll be tieing this into the diffuser and fenders but i need to do the other side before then. now your probably wondering where the motors will go as there aint much provision for them but they will be mounted to each wheel with a lexus type semi independant trailing arm suspension mounted to the red centre diffuser in a f1 style. so this doesn't have a chassis as such. i've got a lot more to do on the aero bits. i also cut dwn the firstr motor i made and made up 2 more so this has 4 motors now. i also found a set of bigger tyres for the rear.
