Hi Guys!

Let me get one thing of my chest first.. I don't actually model scale car kits. I am a 3D artist that has been in the automotive industry for 10 years now (Instagram @abowen3d or www.alexbowen-myportfolio.com).

Two months ago I purchased a resin printer and got to work on printing some of my wheels and tires. After some weeks of trial and error I started posting 1/24 scale wheels and tires on Ebay and it is keeping me more than busy! I have since made a website where you can purchase 3D resin prints and STL files to 3D print yourself (www.meanmachinemodels.com) On my website you'll find a roadmap that has a layout of what I plan to model and sell next.

I would eventually like to make my own scale model kit. I'm thinking either 60s Rail Dragster or Belly Tank Racer, that way I don't have to worry about copyright issues.

Welcome to the forum Alex. I saw,and commented on your post about the gold nugget wheels and tires.

Nice to have yet another source of excellent quality 3D printed scale model parts (and maybe eventually complete kits).

It is really amazing how the affordable 3D printing technology with high enough print resolution has, in just few years, changed the scale model hobby scene.

Also nice to see that you are open to taking requests from modelers or even custom designs.

You have some really nice wheels and tires on your website, definitely going to have to see about ordering some.  One wheel I have not seen anyone do yet is a Halibrand 4 slot mag wheel like in the attached pic.  AMT offered 2 for the rear in their '57 Bel Air kit a long time ago, but they were taken out of later re-issues.  Would be nice if someone came up with one to buy.

Thank you Peter! If you look on my website I have a roadmap page that shows a list of what I have planned to model soon. I added your Old Stock BFGoodrich Radials to the list.

Also, I noticed you're in the Boston area. I'm 45 minutes north in NH.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with, and being able to buy it when you do.

Thanks Alex! So far I only browsed your current items (which is quite a nice selection already).

Sounds like we're almost neighbors.  I regularly visit Manchester, NH.
