Thanks for posting.  Looks like a nice show.

No problem,my pleasure.Yea it was a pretty good show.A little rain in the morning kept some cars away. And I have to say,I have no idea what the deal is with that red convertible(parked on the street with the number 16).I’ve never seen a set up like that.?

And you probably never will again. ?. I guess someone thought just an opening for an air intake was boring so why not use a 70s funny car one.  The blower looks a little offset to one side which is even more confusing but looking again I think it is the angle of the photo.

I was also wondering about the blower since I really don't see any air ducting too the blower. Maybe it's just a shell, remember some guys that did that years ago with an empty blower on top of the carb. and even had a belt from the crank running the front pully.

It's not just the blower up top that I'm questioning. What's with the intake in the front bumper? That's weird.

Ya, I saw that as well. Don't want to hate on someone's car, but it is sort of hard to figure out just what is going on.

Those hood louvers look like they came from a hardware store...very strange.

The blue one with the white stripe belongs to a lady I used to work with, it was a wedding present from her husband. I asked him if he was looking for a side chick...

Newins Ford in Bay Shore had a nice show in 2022, also a drizzly day and I had my '20 entered. I'll have to see if this is a yearly thing, right after Labor Day. The senior Andrew Siben (local lawyer) had a green '59 Edsel rag top entered, a one-off. It was amazing.

The Maclaren and Porsche were there trying to trade up in performance and appearance.
