Hello everyone!  I have been busy getting some builds completed that were started months and months ago.  This is my second "dent side" build.  I have a few more ideas in my head for more, and every time I tackle this kit I learn more techniques on how to handle the challenges with this kit.  I posted a WIP on this one as I wanted to share my mods for a better build on this kit.  For this one I used the Moebius snow plow truck suspension, tires, and wheels.  The engine is a combo of the Firestone and Moebius kits with a 3d printed distributor and some fabricated pieces.  Other 3d printed parts consist of the tailgate, cab lights, added fuel door, fender and bed scripts, battery, starter solenoid, ignition box, grill assembly, rear bumper, tool box, mirrors, washer reservoir, shifters, pedals, transfer case, some driveline parts, and door panels.  I modified the dash to fit more realistically (see WIP).  I  used the trailer hitch from the 64 Galaxie (I believe) and shaved it down to look better.  The bed is one of my own castings I did a long time ago.  This truck was a glue bomb "Bigfoot" kit built back in the 80's and required a lot of work to get it looking how it is.  I hope you like it and comments are welcome, thanks for checking it out!

Looks nice. The extra effort paid off. I notice you did the inner wheel wells aluminum. Many people miss that. I really like the hitch detail, and the cab gas tank is a nice touch. I really like the AMT kit, and yours looks great. I went a little different route with this one:

The paint finish and color look great and the body trim is all cleanly done. The attention to all the under-hood wiring and detailing along with the hitch wiring details as Tom mentioned is what really catches my eyes.

You knocked this one out of the park Bill! Fantastic job on upgrading detail parts. I like the adherence to the way Ford built them in '73. Wheels are the correct color silver, front  inner fenders are correctly galvanized, 360 V8 and 4 speed practically in all F 250 4x4's and the very popular back in the day, barden rear bumper.  "Hiboy" stance looks spot on.

Nicely done! I'm taking notes, since I feel like my '74 F250 super cab needs a companion.

@bill lanfear, You've built a beautiful F-250 4WD, one of my favorite trucks of all time. All the detailing, the custom parts and the paint made for an excellent truck.

Seriously good looking Ford, Bill. Great detailing looks factory. Everything about this build looks 'right'. Love it!

I missed your WIP but will check it out. I have a '73 F-350 project coming up (some day) so I'll be looking for detailing tips.

What can I say, it looks real. One of the nicest conversion jobs I've ever seen on that kit. I did a short bed 4x4 some time ago, and now I feel the need to do another dent side.

That is one outstanding build, Bill!  Like it's been previously said already, everything looks spot-on factory.  Love all the detail you added under the hood and the wired up receiver hitch.  I'm gonna have to look at your WIP thread, as I like the modification to the dashboard.  Also noticed the Montana plates, maybe our trucks have crossed paths at some point! LOL
